How it started
Corcrá Açaí was founded by Marcelo and Daire — two entrepreneurs based in Ireland who saw a gap in the wholesale açaí market and decided to approach it differently.
While travelling in Brazil, Marcelo introduced Daire to açaí as it's experienced locally — simple, fresh, and full of flavour.
What we found available elsewhere was often very different: diluted, overly sweetened, and inconsistent in quality.
Finding the right partner
We spent time in Brazil meeting producers and learning how high-quality açaí is grown, handled and prepared at source.
From this, we identified a certified organic producer in Pará that matched our standards and shared our commitment to responsible sourcing, sustainability and local community support.
That relationship is the foundation of everything Corcrá supplies into Ireland today.

Together, we developed a product range built around high açaí content, lower sugar and minimal ingredients — focused on flavour, consistency and honest sourcing.
Today, Corcrá Açaí supplies wholesale frozen açaí to cafés, gyms, juice bars, restaurants and foodservice operators across Ireland — stocked in Dublin and delivered cold chain nationwide.
